The Committee on Economic Policy recommends that the parliament should reject the bill to amend several laws of Ukraine (re customer’s liability for the non-compliance with the terms of privatization)

The bill (reg. no. 1252) recommends amending the Law “On the peculiarities of privatization of the enterprises of the State Joint-Stock Company ‘Ukrrudprom’” (reg. no 1252) to prolong from 5 to 10 years the ban on the retargeting of the enterprise, to prohibit the procedure of asset management, and to enforce disposal of assets of ‘Ukrrudprom’ SJSC. The bill also introduces a new clause that determines customer’s liability for the non-compliance with the terms of privatization.
